          Marketing & Social Media

Is there any way I compare my conversation rates to an industry standard? For instance, emails sent vs. emails opened?

If you Google specific conversion rates you will see people out there talking about standard rates. Those are fine as a starting point but in my experience it varies a lot depending on what you are selling, the industry, the size of the transaction, etc. You can use "standard" rates for planning but what you will get might be far from that. The key is to measure what you are doing and work to improve it. If you have big problems, they will show themselves.
